Vitamin-Rich Food for Good Skin

Good food for skin and have anti-aging qualities

Food for Thought? How About Food for Skin!

We have all heard the saying, “You are what you eat.” When it comes to the health of your skin, your body’s largest organ, nothing could be more true.

What we eat plays a major role in how our skin looks and feels. For example, if you have oily skin, try cutting down on the amount of processed foods and those that are high in sugar. If you are looking for a treatment for dry skin or itchy skin, consider adding foods that are rich in omega-3 fatty acids and vitamin B (such as fish and walnuts.) If you are battling acne breakouts, try increasing your intake of selenium-rich foods, such as nuts, fresh tuna and whole grain bread.

Here is a list of foods that have been shown to improve skin:

Bell peppers, Blueberries, Broccoli, Oranges and Strawberries

These are all high in Vitamin C, which helps your body produce collagen proteins. Collagen works to strengthen the blood flow to your skin, reducing wrinkles, while also working to improve skin overall. Collagen is also found in our MFIII Bluecell Skin Gel!
In addition, these foods are a great treatment for dry skin because they are high in antioxidants, vitamins and water.

Sunflower Seeds, Almonds, and Avocados

These foods are rich in omega-3 fatty acids, a great all-natural treatment for dry skin! They are also rich in vitamin E, and just like ascorbic acid (vitamin C), vitamin E helps in developing more collagen cells, which work to improve skin. Ascorbic acid can also be found in our MFIII VP Advanced Formula Softgels!

Crimini Mushrooms, Venison, Yogurt, Soybeans and Milk

These foods are great sources of riboflavin, also known as vitamin B2. Riboflavin plays a vital role in overall skin health, as it stimulates oxygen production in cells. More oxygen in your cells leads to glowing skin!

Garlic and Onions

These pungent ingredients are high in sulfur, and help to keep skin smooth. Sulfur has a variety of skincare uses, and can be very effective in treatment for dry skin and acne! Sulfur is considered a miracle mineral that works to really improve skin.

Eggs, Sweet Potatoes, and Carrots

The high content of Vitamin A is one of many reasons that these are excellent foods that work to improve skin. Vitamin A helps new skin cells grow, and you cannot have healthy, firm, and glowing skin without fresh skin cells! Vitamin A is also a great treatment for dry skin! Carrots and sweet potatoes also contain lutien, a naturally-occurring carotenoid. Lutien is also found in our MFIII VP Advanced Formula Softgels!

Dried Apricots, Oatmeal, Spinach and Sesame Seeds

These foods are full of iron, which can help improve skin tone. Be sure to eat these with foods that contain vitamin C, as your body needs this to absorb the nutrients provided by iron.

Include these foods for skin consistently in your diet and the world will see a more youthful-looking you!

Supplement these fruits and vegetables with MFIII Bluecell Skin Gel or MFIII VP Softgels Advanced Formula for a comprehensive anti-aging regimen that works to improve skin for the many years to come!
