PADINA PAVONICA
Padina pavonica is an extremely strong anti-aging active ingredient. This warm-water brown algae exudes substances that act directly on the glucosaminoglycans or GAGs, found in the epidermis. GAGs concentration decreases with age, causing epidermal thinning and drying, and therefore, the appearance of wrinkles. When applied to the surface of the epidermis, padina pavonica enhances structure, and helps the skin become firmer, making wrinkles less visible.
