Mercury is once again rising and before you know it, it is high summer. There is no better time to become aware of your skin's needs during the hot season. Whether heading to the beach, the mountains, or just spending your summer weekends in town, you need to slather on some sunscreen.
Researchers from Australia have finally put a figure on the effects of using sunscreen. About 24 percent of the skin of people who lather on sunscreen regularly year-round, not just in summer, actually showed less skin aging.
The study done at the Queensland Institute of Medical Research had more than 900 people apply sunscreen everyday for four and a half years. Conclusions of the study suggested that caring for the skin using sunscreen does reduce the likelihood of forming wrinkles and generally skin aging.
To help you take care of your skin, NS-mart recommends, aside from regular use of sunscreen, the application of the all-new MFIII Bluecell Extracts AF2. This is a fast-absorbing, moisturizing formula which helps rejuvenate your face, eye, and neck.
Beyond the percent of skin protected by sunscreen, the study also found that a sunscreen lotion with a sun protection factor (SPF) of 15 was enough to protect you from around 94 percent of the rays of the sun which causes sunburns, the ultraviolet B rays.
In conjunction with the study, other experts say that people often make the mistake of not using enough sunscreen. They either apply to little or they neglect to re-apply. As a rule, the sunscreen must cover all surfaces of the skin exposed to sunlight in order to be effective against skin aging. Apply again after two to three hours for optimal effect. Ideally as well, SPF 20 or 30 is good.
With regular use of sunscreen and the application of the all-new NS-mart product MFIII Bluecell Extracts AF2, you are sure to prevent skin aging and have a healthy skin this summer.
